BIRAC – DBT, Govt of India – Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council – Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has been our primary support at every stage of our growth.
Our HRF – DH technology was supported under BIG (Biotechnology Ignition Grant) which helped us successfully achieve proof of concept. The technology is now at commercial validation stage where we have tied up with eminent seed companies and breeders in vegetables, row crops and floriculture sector.We were the first company to receive Equity investment from BIRAC’s SEED FUND, for commercialization of our SNIPR technology (Smart Nanomolecule Induced Physiological Response) based Next Gen Ag Biologicals. Within the first year of funding we have successfully launched 4 products in 10 states in India.
Bioprime also received the prestigious IGNITE AWARD from BIRAC and Judge Business School, Cambridge, UK at Cambridge, UK where our Director Dr Renuka received two weeks of intensive business training.

VENTURE CENTRE - The Team at VENTURE CENTRE has played a crucial role in Biorpime’s growth even before its establishment. Venture Centre has been our friend, philosopher, guide and more at our every step. Bioprime has been fortunate enough to be incubated at BioIncubator, Venture Centrewhich has been awarded Best incubator at national level (NSTEDB – National TBI Award) and in Asia (AABI Asian Incubation Award - 2018). Venture center continues to be a pillar of strength through its mentorship and support.
Startup India - Bioprime is amongst the first startups to get DIPP RECOGNITION as a “Startup” under the Startup India Mission and also one of very few to receive INTRA MINISTERIAL CLEARANCE for Tax Exemption under the scheme. Apart from get providing certificate and recognition, Startup India has helped us network with several national and international market partners. Bioprime has also been selected under Startup India’s AGRICULTURE GRAND CHALLENGE for mentorship and market access.
Unltd India, Mumbai - Unltd India, a Social Accelerator, have been our mentors supporting and advising us from the very early stage. Unltd has helped us connect to the grass root level and network with same minded entrepreneurs as well as established players. With their support we have been able to accelerate the growth of Bioprime and deliver high-impact and be a catalysts for social change.
